No, not the Coca Cola themed adverts. We are talking about Holiday Season. . . Mexico, Espana, Barbados, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Florida and anywhere along the Coast of Africa. It’s all talks of Holiday Season here in the Salon today. As we hit February, everyone is keen to get their minutes in on the sunbeds prepping for that Lads Holiday, Hen Do or Family Break. I myself am off on 2 Holidays this year for Weddings alone and I intend to make the most of each break by extending days either side of the Weddings.
Oh I love a Wedding abroad! My Husband’s Cousin got Married a few years back in Kalkan in Turkey and it was absolutely Beautiful. They were Married right next to the Sea on a large Jetty and traditional Turkish Food was served followed by a BBQ later on in the evening. It was a lovely day and a Beautiful Holiday. I highly recommend Kalkan in Turkey despite it not having a Beach as such. All of the Hotels have Pools and the Boat trips out to Sea are such an amazing experience.
I have been lucky to travel many places across the globe growing up. From Hong Kong to Canada, France to Egypt. I have seen many European Cities and many unusual haunts in the US. However, my favourite place of all is Hong Kong, if I was given the choice to move abroad, Hong Kong would be my first choice. There is something about the Island that excitess me every time I talk about it or see it. Not only renowned for its amazing Shopping, the People and the Culture also fascinate me. I have also been to Macau, by Boat from Hong Kong. What an experience. It is like being in Spain – Founded by Christopher Columbus it is the Gambling City of HK and everything is Spanish themed but full of Chinese. A real eye opener. Lots of people live on the water in Macau and you see these long boats all tied up together with large washing machines on the back!
Egypt is a fascinating Holiday. I have never experienced Sharm-El-Sheik but I have visited Luxor, Aswan and Cairo. I have seen the Valley of the Kings and visited Tutankhamun’s tomb. I was 8 years old and studying the Egyptians at School at the time, I was fascinated and it was an experience I will never forget. If I am fortunate enough to have Children myself one day, The Valley of the Kings is one place I wish to take them.
Anyway, enough of me rambling on! Get your Holiday Tan on and visit us at Guys n Dolls to enjoy the full experience of our Brand New Sunbeds.
