Box parting
A box parting section is a 4 inch wide section along your parting area. This is ideal for a cheaper, quick fix to give your parting area a fresher, brighter look or to break up block color.
Half head
A half head treatment colours 50% of your hair from the top of the ear line round and all of the hair above. Hair from the ear line to the nape (neck area) will not be coloured. This is a popular ‘inbetween’ service for clients who usually have a full head of highlights or for clients wishing to add depth and tones to natural color.
Full head
A full head of foils is your entire hair weaved into foils. This is recommended for clients having their hair coloured for the 1st time. Once a full head of foils is done a box parting or half head can be used as a freshen up between full head services.
Bleach roots
This is a lightning technique used to lighten the entire of your hair ideal for clients who like to be very light. This method the bleach is applied direct to the scalp and foils are not used. This treatment is often followed by a toner.This is a process that is lifted up using the natural heat of your head so the root needs to be no longer than 1.5 inches for it to work or it may create banding.
Cap highlights
This services is commonly used when clients have very short hair that isn’t long enough to foil. During this process a special cap with holes in it will be applied to the head and strands of hair pulled through the holes where the colour is required. The colour will then be applied directly to the hair.
Toner
This is a colour applied to bleached or highlighted hair. It can be used to add tone’s of Ash, Honey etc or to refresh highlights or bleached hair that has become dull. This treatment the colour is applied direct to the hair and scalp. Many colours and shades can be achieved using toners after a lightening treatment.
Tint
This can be permanent or semi permanent and is a treatment that darkens hair. This colour is applied directly to the hair and will need the regrowth colours every 6-8 weeks.
Tint and foils
This service allows the colourist to use 2 or more different colours, this often gives a more natural and the illusion movement.It also means you can place different colours for maximum effect.
Ombre
Ombre is the gradual blending of one colour to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to dark. This is a very popular and in trend service.
Balayage
Balayage is an effect that’s created by using fine foils at the root which is then blended with thicker foils at the mid lengths and ends to create more natural looking highlighted hair.
Highlights
A finely weaved technique used to lighten the hair using bleach or other lightening products leaving your hair looking naturally lighter.
lowlights
These are achieved using the same method as highlights but instead using tint to add darker colors or tones to your hair
